Clinical Service for Patients: Reproductive Endocrinology

Diagnostic and treatment service for both male and female reproductive endocrinology are available at both the Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals. Patients with all causes of abnormal reproductive endocrinology are seen, for example:

  1. Hypopituitarism
  2. Kallmans syndrome (anosmia & low GnRH)
  3. Illness / underweight
  1. Congenital: Klinefelters syndrome (XXY), 5alpha-reductase deficiency
  2. Acquired: surgery, chemotherapy
  3. Polycystic ovarian syndrome
  4. Hyperprolactinaemia
  5. Androgen receptor deficiency

We have established protocols for investigating and treating men and women with reproductive abnormalities. These are presented at the Hammersmith Hospitals Endocrine protocols. We also work very closely with our Fertility experts at Queen Charlotte's Hospital which is on the same site as the Hammersmith Hospital for patients with infertility.
